Her writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Scholastic magazines and other publications.
Long fascinated by the interplay of sexuality and emotion, Lisa won the Los Angeles Library’s Teen Writing contest at age 17 for her local library branch, only to be told she did not win the citywide competition because her short story, “Wanted,” was “too adult” in theme. Undaunted, Lisa has been writing about sex and relationships ever since, conducting field research for over 20 years.
She is also a charismatic and witty storyteller, performing in shows around LA, including Tasty Words and Word Salad. Lisa lives in Santa Monica, California, where she can see the ocean from her windows.
